North girls use a huge second half to defeat Assumption

The Wildcats win 72-55 on the road in MAC girls basketball action

DAVENPORT, Iowa - Davenport North exploded for 39 second-half points to pull away from Davenport Assumption, 72-55, in MAC girls basketball action.

Paige Bradford scored 21 of her game-high 27 points in the opening half. Camry Dille picked up the slack after intermission with 16 of her 19 points in the third and fourth quarters.

The Knights led 37-33 at halftime after Molly Gervase's buzzer-beating 3-pointer.
