After a nine game road trip, the River Bandits finally came home on Friday night to begin a nine game homestand.
The Bandits faced off against Wisconsin in a Midwest League matchup. Bandits got it going in the second inning, scoring four runs, including a Kristian Trompiz two run homer to left field. The Bandits would get another in the fifth and two more in the seventh inning on a Nick Tanielu two-run double. Bandits open the homestand with a 7-1 win. They face Wisconsin Saturday night in the second of a three game set at Modern Woodmen Park at 6 p.m.
