A new pavilion at River Heritage Park is now open.
The pavilion was funded by the Davenport Rotary Club as part of their Centennial Year project.
Over the past decade, Rotary has raised about $100,000 towards building the pavilion
“Our club budgeted for it for several years,” said Gary Loss, president of Rotary Club of Davenport. “So it came out of our member dues. We also had fundraising over the last few years and we asked clubs that we helped start through the years help as well. So a lot of folks have been wanting to see this become a reality.”
The pavilion also shows rotary's four way test that rotary members use for their personal and professional relationships.
