John Deere Classic: A spot just for the caddies

Another group hard at work on the golf course are the caddies: and there's one spot where they go to refuel.

It's called Caddy Central.

The air conditioned trailer includes all kinds of fresh made foods, along with seating and a place to relax: just for caddies.

The trailer serves 150 caddies each day and even about 25 players stop in just for the food.

"It's someplace that we can kind of come get some work done and kind of relax and it's just caddies in here and sometimes players but it's great yea we love it,” said Tour Caddy Chris Callas.

"You hear a lot of stories in here and you know it's not uncommon to go over the rounds with other guys and talk about what club you hit and you know and we laugh and joke and have a good time as well as get good food,” said Dale McElyea, President of the Professional Tour Caddies of America.

Caddy Central is funded by the PGA Tour and run by the Professional Tour Caddies of America. It's been around for 35 years.
