Tyler is our weekday morning meteorologist. Tyler is from Indianapolis and a graduate of Ball State University. After he graduated, Tyler landed a job in Youngstown, Ohio for WFMJ 21 News as MMJ/Weekend Morning Meteorologist. His favorite type of weather to forecast is winter weather but his favorite season is the fall.
Tyler’s passion for weather took off in the summer of 2016. Tyler, accompanied by two professors and 10 other college students, embarked on a 16-day storm-chasing journey to the Midwest. They traveled as far north as Colorado Springs and as far south as Laredo, Texas.
When Tyler isn’t in the weather center forecasting, you can find him either in the gym, on the golf course, or watching anything sports-related.
If you see Tyler out and about, don’t be afraid to say, “Hi!” He enjoys meeting new people!
