In 1869, the doors of the original Mercy Hospital in Davenport were opened for the first time to a single, pregnant woman in need of care….the humble beginnings of Genesis Health System.

Since then, Genesis has grown to become an indispensable part of the Quad Cities community, a national leader in health and patient care, and a force that will help shape healthcare for generations to come.

Whether providing flu shots, gathering school supplies, or performing a high-tech robotic surgery, at its core, Genesis Health System is still guided by the simple mission established 150 years ago by the Sisters of Mercy: “To provide compassionate, quality health services to all those in need.”

On Thursday, November 15th Genesis invites you to step into the future for a night full of surprises to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Genesis Health System.  Click Here to lean more.
