Learn about Peripheral Artery Disease

Health Alert

Peripheral Artery Disease is a chronic circulatory condition that affects nearly 20 million Americans and it can result in amputations if left untreated.

September is Peripheral Artery Disease Awareness Month and the goal is to show the importance of having access to P.A.D. screenings and treatments, which will improve quality of life, reduce care costs and prevent limb loss.

Doctor Jon A. Robken from Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. joined Local 4 News at 5 to tell us more about the disease.
