More than 13 million children in the United States live in “food insecure” homes—which means that those children don’t regularly have enough food to eat. And when those same children aren’t in school on the weekends—they may have very limited access to food. A local program is hoping to fill that gap. Ken Croken, Scott County Supervisor, is in the studio to discuss the “Kids Eat Free program.
