One businesses creative way to get rid of extra Halloween candy and give back this fall

Brittany and, Riverview Dental Specialties office manager, Shelley Vermeulen took some time this afternoon to shed light on the Treats for Troops program.

The Riverview Dental Specialties office in LeClaire, IA is participating in a candy collection program that collects then redistributes excess Halloween candy to deployed service members around the world and veteran patients in VA hospitals across the country.

How to participate in Treats for Troops:

  • Bring your extra Halloween candy into the Riverview Dental Specialties office, 1111 Canal Shore Dr. SW, Le Claire, IA 52753 LeClaire office by November 30th to receive a free toothbrush.
  • For every pound of candy you donate, Riverview Dental will pay you $1.00.
  • Riverview Dental will donate all collected candy to Soldiers’ Angels and they will package and ship to deployed service members or handout to veteran patients in VA Hospitals.
