Access to affordable fresh fruits and vegetables isn’t always as easy as stopping by the grocery store. Local non-profit, Quad City Food Forest, is working to transform our community into a food forest for local people and wildlife, by planting a garden lush with fresh berries, vine-ripened tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, among many other produce options. And unlike a grocery store, this garden is always open, and it’s free to anyone.
