It’s now official, this was the worst flooding ever recorded in the Quad Cities.

According to the National Weather Service, the US Army Corps of Engineers has just certified the May 2nd Mississippi River crest of 22.7′ in the Quad Cities.

This breaks the old record from 1993.

Hopefully, this stays in the #1 spot for a long time…
