Here are four reports posted to OurQuadCities.com to review before Local 4 News at 4, 5 and 6:

One man was taken to the hospital Thursday after being shot in Muscatine.

+ A car was traveling the wrong direction in the eastbound lanes of Avenue of the Cities in Moline and collided head on with a bus.

+ Lance Armstrong, who knows a thing or two about bikes, and Jimmie Johnson, who is likely more comfortable on four wheels, joined the latest leg of RAGBRAI. Both the Tour de France veteran and NASCAR champion had nothing but good things to say to Carie Kuehn about the ride. In New Hampton, an impressive bike arch welcomed riders to the town, but in Cresco, it was ghouls. To see RAGBRAI from a different angle, try this timelapse video or this aerial shot from a drone.

+ Kirk Ferentz told Hawkeye Headquarters reporter Adam Rossow that Iowa’s strength of schedule ‘measures up with anybody,’ citing the 10 Power 5 teams on the docket annually. Opponents until 2019 are locked in, but the quarterback situation for 2017 is much more fluid.

Now tune in to Local 4 News at 4 p.m. with Tiffany Lundberg as Redrick Terry explains how Rock Island Police have a technological edge over other agencies in the area. Later, Mayra Cordova talks to the organizer of the Rochelle Davis benefit planned for Saturday at Kavanaugh’s Hilltop Tap in Rock Island.
