Democratic hopeful wants election day a national holiday

4 The Record

There was a lot to my conversation with Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson we couldn’t fit into this week’s broadcast of 4 The Record.

Part of it focused on her priority to protect the integrity of elections.

Williamson wants to ensure that voting systems are secure from internal as well as external threats. We’ve been assured by the people in power that they are secure.

Are they wrong?

What would she do to protect the voting process and accuracy of elections?

Williamson wants election day to be a national holiday or held on a Saturday.

She expanded on that in our discussion.

Watch the full conversation in the video above.
