We weren’t able to broadcast all of this week’s interview with Iowa Senator Joni Ernst on 4 The Record.

Senator Ernst said this week she thinks it’s time for the country to move on from the Mueller Report.

She also doesn’t think Robert Mueller needs to testify before Congress.

Senator Ernst is also behind some new healthcare legislation that has its critics.

We addressed that in this web extra.

New health care legislation

Health care was another defining issue in the midterm elections that is attributed to the Democrats regaining control of the house of representatives.

Ernst is among the sponsors of legislation that has to do with health care.

It’s stated intent is to protect insurance coverage for people with pre-existing conditions.

Ernst addressed those who maintain that’s not necessary because it already exists in the Affordable Care Act, if she supports the latest court fight to throw out the ACA and if she believes that health care is a right.

Annual or lifetime limits on health coverage

Ernst’s measure would let insurance companies reimpose them. We asked her how that prevents people from going broke paying for health care.

Watch the video above for the entire conversation.
