A burglary at a cell phone store in Moline’s Floreciente neighborhood left the business with a personal loss.
Here’s surveillance video of the burglar climbing through the back window of Boost Mobile around 5:30 am.
Employees say the thief took $25,000 dollars worth of merchandise and money. The cash register is among the things gone.
Employees are especially upset that a donation jar for a local man battling cancer was taken.
“I hope it helps you, because i mean for you to do that to somebody who’s fighting for their life and for you to just take it like that, that’s very messed up,” says store employee Luis Razo.
Investigators are looking into the case. Employees hope police catch the thief.
