RAGBRAI riders are waking up in Cresco, Iowa this morning for day six of their trek across the state.
Today, riders will make a 60 mile trip ending in Waukon, Iowa.
Yesterday, cyclist Lance Armstrong and Nascar driver Jimmie Johnson joined the latest leg.
They’ve both done RAGBRAI before and have nothing but good things to say about it.
“It’s the craziest thing that I’ve ever seen on two wheels, to me that’s the coolest part about it – just knowing what it’s like then bringing new people. It’s crazier than they ever thought,” said Armstrong.
“It’s nice to not have the pressure of the job, so i can actually hang out and have a great experience socializing and signing autographs and taking pictures,” said Johnson.
Both Armstrong and Johnson plan to continue doing RAGBRAI in the future. They say it’s an unforgettable experience.
