Davenport parents facing neglect, drug charges after children fall from second story window

Two Davenport parents are facing charges after two young children fell out of a second-story bedroom window. 

Police charged both Desmond Grasker, 26, and Daria Marion, 24, with neglect, possession with intent to deliver and drug tax stamp

Police began investigating the couple on May 6 after the children fell from the window. A 3-year-old girl broke her leg and suffered a concussion from the fall. A 2-year-old had bumps and bruises, according to police. 

During a search of the residence, police found nearly 110 grams of marijuana in a shoebox on the floor. Also inside the box was a digial scale and a cup. Police say the drugs within reach of the children.  

Marion is the biological mother of both children. Grasker is the biological father of one of them.
