Another upscale fast-food restaurant is coming to the Quad Cities.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers will be opening a store on West Kimberly Road in Davenport.

The plan has been in the works for quite some time, and that the plan is to open the store sometime this summer.

Freddy’s recently broke ground at 916 West Kimberly Road.

“The West Kimberly development corridor is home to a wide variety to retail businesses, restaurants and family-friendly entertainment venues that makes it a great fit for Freddy’s,” said Mike Young, franchise owner, in a news release. “Our teams work hard to provide a relaxing environment in the restaurant, focusing on cleanliness and quality service. We hope the community will enjoy our family-friendly dining experience and atmosphere with all of their family and friends.”

The 3,300 square-foot, freestanding restaurant will seat 100 guests and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available.

Co-founded in 2002 by Scott Redler and Bill, Randy and Freddy Simon, Freddy’s opened its first location in Wichita, Kansas. There are now 300 Freddy’s restaurants in 31 states.
