Gunfire in Rock Island Wednesday night followed shortly by a car accident.
It happened around 8:00 p.m. at 9th Street and 26th Avenue.
Neighbors tell Local 4/Fox 18 News they heard at least one gunshot before the crash near Frances Willard Elementary School.
It’s not clear yet if anyone was hurt.
Police shut down about three blocks of 9th Street while officers worked the case.
