The operations of the Hope Creek Care Center Advisory Board have been suspended, Rock Island County Board Chairman Richard Brunk announced Tuesday.

“After careful consideration I have advised the members of the County Board of my decision to suspend the operations of the Advisory Board for Hope Creek Care Center. Beginning with the February 2019 Board committee meeting cycle, all nursing home related staff and financial reports will be presented to the Governance, Health, and Administration Committee,” wrote Brunk in a news release. “I would like to acknowledge the dedication and hard work provided by each member who has served on the Advisory Board and thank them for their service.”

Jessey Hullon, who had been the president since the board was created in 2016, resigned on January 15.
