Illinois could spring forward–and never fall back

News

Illinois state senate voted 44-2 with bipartisan approval Tuesday on a bill that would make Daylight Savings Time permanent.

The bill heads now to the state house, where if passed, will take effect in March 2020.

Hawaii and Arizona, except for the Navajo Nation territory, currently do not follow the Uniform Time Act of 1966.
