Juvenile arrested after car shot

A man told police he was shot at by three people Monday afternoon. He was not hit, but his car was, and a juvenile was arrested.

On Monday March 18th, 2019 at approximately 4:54 pm Davenport Police responded to the 1200 Warren Street reference a report of shots fired. Responding units located several shell casings near a residence and in the West alley behind the same residence in the 1200 block of Warren Street.

Around this same time an Officer was flagged down by a victim who stated he was shot at by 3 subjects in the 1200 block of Warren Street (West alley). The victim’s vehicle was struck by bullets but he was not injured.

Officers obtained consent to search the residence by the homeowner and a juvenile was located in the residence. He matched the physical description and clothing description of one of the shooters. He was positively identified by the victim as being one of the three shooters. The juvenile was charged with Intimidation with a Weapon and turned over to the Juvenile Detention Center.
