UPDATE: Four people were sitting in a vehicle when they were robbed by a man with a gun.

On Monday March 1st, 2019 at approximately 11:48 a.m. several Davenport Police Units responded to the 3700 block of College Ave reference the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival Officers canvassed the area and found 4 victims involved in this incident. The victims state they were sitting in a vehicle when a male black approached with a gun and ordered them out of their car and demanded money. The suspect ordered the victims to get on the ground which they complied with. The suspect then took money from one of the victim’s and fled on foot to a silver car. The silver car then fled the area. One of the victims sustained minor injuries to their hand as they got on the ground. Follow-up is being done by the Criminal Investigation Division. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is encouraged to “DO WHAT’S RIGHT” and call the Davenport Police Department at 563 326-6125 or submit an anonymous tip via the mobile app entitled “CityConnect Davenport, IA” or “CrimeReports by Motorola”.
There's a large police presence in the neighborhood behind north of Kimberly Road near Bridge Avenue in Davenport.
Several squad cars are in an apartment complex parking lot.
