Arsenal: Any loud booms are from Locks and Dam 15 construction work

UPDATE: The Rock Island Arsenal now says it expects only one loud boom around 2 p.m.

EARLIER UPDATE: The Rock Island Arsenal wants to let the public know that you might hear some “blasting sounds” coming from Arsenal Island today. But don’t worry, they say it’s only from construction work on Locks and Dam 15.
