A water main project in Clinton means some streets in town will be closed.

Iowa American Water is installing a water main in the city. To accommodate the workers, South 18^th Street at Fifth Avenue south to Eighth Avenue South will be closed for about three weeks. A detour will be in place at Fifth Avenue South from South 16^th Street to Eighth Avenue South.
