East Moline issues burn ban to help with COVID-19 symptoms

The East Moline Fire Department issued a burn ban due to COVID-19 on Monday.

“To assist citizens who may develop respiratory symptoms related to COVID-19, the East Moline Fire Department has placed a burn ban in effect for the City of East Moline effective Monday, April 6, 2020. Open burning is prohibited until the current public health emergency has diminished,” according to a press release.
