FDA votes to recommend pediatric COVID-19 vaccine

A Food and Drug Administration voted Tuesday to recommend the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for five- to 11-year-olds. One final approval from the CDC is still needed.

The kids would be receiving what’s classified as a pediatric dose. The approval of the vaccine would cover about 28 million children.
