Iowans gathered to honor service members at a ceremony at Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
Governor Kim Reynolds was the honored guest at the ceremony. Reynolds gave a speech on the impact veterans have on the country and to honor their memory.
Retired Marine Major Sean Quinlan was also an honored guest, giving a speech on the sacrifice that the military community gives every day.
