Illinois’ daylight-saving change losing momentum

Local News

A permanent move to daylight-saving time in Illinois might be running out of steam.

The bill seems to be stalled in the house rules committee after passing the state senate yesterday. It needs to clear that committee, be assigned to and pass another committee, and then pass two more votes on the full House floor by tomorrow.

That chain of events is unlikely to happen and could mean it has to wait for the spring.
