Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signs criminal justice reform bill

Today, JB Pritzker signed a criminal justice reform bill that would see the end to monetary bail. This also reforms police and is supposed to make police more accountable. New training procedures, de-escalation and intervention tactics are a part of it. As well as mandating body cameras for every officer by the year 2025. However, those in Illinois law enforcement are concerned of the impact this may have on their occupation and communities they protect.
