Illinois Senate Republicans are calling the Legislative Audit Commission to look into issues at several state agencies.
They say agencies in question have been operating in dysfunction and mismanagement. Republicans say they still have concerns with other agencies, including the Department of Child and Family Services, which have had challenges.
The agency’s director announced he would resign at the end of 2023.
