Hundreds of Kewanee teachers and school employees are on the picket line.

Parents and students are among the people joining the teachers in the Kewanee School District for an informational picket before they go inside to pack the school board meeting. The Kewanee Education Association (KEA) President wants the board to make reaching a fair contract a priority and to be available more often for mediation.
