Man in custody after several kids removed from trailer

UPDATE: The Davenport Police Department says this is a follow-up to the homicide that took place on Saturday morning on the 6500-block of Harrison Street. They cannot offer more details at this time but did mention it has no relation to the Breasia Terrell case.

EARLIER UPDATE: About 10 kids exited a trailer after Coal Valley Police and Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department arrived and asked the residents to exit their home.

It happened in the 100 block of West 10th Street in Coal Valley.

A man was taken into custody.

Neighbors say it started a little after 9 a.m.

At least two squad cars and a police rescue vehicle were at the scene.
