Muscatine County lifts burn ban on Friday

The Iowa State Fire Marshal’s Office on Friday lifted the burn ban for Muscatine County.

The Muscatine County Emergency Management Agency, in conjunction with local fire chiefs and the State Fire Marshal’s Office, determined open burning constituted a danger to life or property in Muscatine County, so a burn ban went into effect Oct. 15.
