New Illinois law caps insulin cost at $100 per month

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signed a law that will cap out-of-pocket insulin costs at $100 for a 30-day supply.

The bill introduces amendment to the Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan Act.

The bill, signed on Friday, will take effect beginning Jan. 1st 2021.
