Bettendorf’s now-retired fire chief received a very special honor.
Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks took a moment to honor and salute Chief Steve Knorrek on the United States House of Representatives floor.
Knorrek was one of Bettendorf’s first paid firefighters after years as an all volunteer department.
