Mistrial declared in trial for Latrice Lacey

Judge Nancy Tabor has declared the trial for the Director of the Davenport Civil Rights Commission, Latrice Lacey, a mistrial due to a hung jury. 

Lacey is charged with three counts of domestic abuse assault and one count of first-degree harassment.

After closing arguments on Friday morning, jury deliberation started around 11a.m.

The deadlocked jury was sent home just before 5p.m. Friday evening. 

A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27.
