Report: U.S. to send troops to Canadian border

National News

The United States is expected to send troops to the Canadian border “to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection efforts” during the COVID-19 novel coronavirus crisis, according to Reuters.

Less than 1,000 troops would be sent to the northern border, while several hundred would be dispatched to the Mexican border, according to the report.

Canada is strongly opposed to the move.
