New projections for next Mississippi crest

The latest extended river forecasts show another significant crest coming along the Mississippi River over the next couple of weeks. A lot still depends on where storms move through the Upper Midwest in the coming days, and how much rain actually falls, but it’s increasingly likely that many stretches of the river will return to major flood stage in the next 1-2 weeks.
