A push to fill more than 200 jobs at Bettendorf’s new sports and entertainment complex begins this weekend.

TBK Bank Sports Complex, formally known as the BettPlex, which owns the facility, is nearing the end of construction.

They are preparing for their first big baseball tournament on May 4.

Job seekers are asked to bring their resume to the Waterfront Convention Center.

“We need everything under the sun. We want to see people come out that want to be bartenders, servers, hostesses, party pros, kitchen managers, cooks, front desk receptionists, we need them all,” said TBK Marketing Director Kira Brabeck.

People are asked to come prepared for interviews at the job fair.

“We’re going to process your work and see what positions you’re for, and you’re actually going to talk with the management staff that you’d be working under,” said Brabeck. “This is very interactive; we want to see your personality, as well as your skills.”

They’re hoping to get the positions filled to begin training.

The job fair runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday and 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday.
