UPDATE: Local 4 News has confirmed that the officer was shot in the chest and the leg. The officer was wearing a bulletproof vest when he was shot.
UPDATE: A Davenport Police Officer was shot Thursday, which led to the heavy police presence near 17th and Division.
The name of the officer is unknown at this time.
Local 4 News has learned the officer is in stable condition.
One person is in custody.
A neighbor heard at least 2 shots and there are still multiple active crime scenes in the area.

A large police presence is at 17th and Division in Davenport after an apparent chase.
Police were seen running at the scene and several squad cars and emergency vehicles from multiple departments have arrived.
Police told Local 4 News it was not safe and avoid the area.
A Local 4 News crew saw a man loaded by stretcher into an ambulance.
