Police investigating bank robbery

UPDATE: A Chase Bank branch was robbed in Moline on Friday morning.

Moline Police were dispatched to the 100 block of 19th Avenue around 11:29 a.m. for a holdup alarm at Chase Bank.

A man approached two separate tellers and demanded money, displayed a hand gun and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the tellers.

The suspect was described as 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, but his face was covered with a scarf and sunglasses to obscure his identity. He also had on a black hooded sweatshirt, gray or similar color pants and dark gloves. 

He fled the bank in an unknown direction. No one was injured during this robbery.
