Sen. Cory Booker shares Iowa roots to a room of more than 250 supporters

Another democratic candidate running for president, Cory Booker, also made his rounds in Davenport.
 

Over 250 people showed up to see what Sen. Booker is all about. He talked about issues regarding prison reform and medicare for all. 
Healthcare was one concern that was popular among Iowans tonight. Fox 18 spoke to an event goer who explains what she hopes presidential nominees will tackle.

“I think health care is a major issue and job opportunities. Im a union girl so any union jobs is very for the area,” says supporter Trady Robinson.


This was Booker’s last stop on his Iowa trip.
