Quad Citians can now fly through the air at Snowstar

ANDALUSIA, IL — Calling all adrenaline seekers! A Quad Cities area winter sports park has added a new attraction. And you don’t have to be a skier to enjoy. 

People can zip line across Snowstar Winter Park on this high speed adventure.

This will also be the first year the park will be open for all seasons.

Their new SkyFlyer Zip Line tour includes four courses. Two of which are almost 1300 feet long. One of them is also one of the longest double line zip lines in the Midwest.  It all ends with riding the chairlift to the top to get a better view of the park.

Participants must weigh at least 70 lbs. to take part in an adventure zip tour. Anyone under age 18 will need to have a signed release form if they’re not accompanied by a legal guardian.

It’s $29 for the half tour or $39 for the full tour .The full tour takes about an hour to complete.

Their grand opening is this Saturday from 12-5pm. There will be free hot dogs, chips and soft drinks offered with the purchase of a zip line ticket. You can call them at (309) 798-2673 to reserve a spot.
