People can go to the TaxSlayer Center until 7 p.m. today and paint their name or their loved ones’ names on the ice if they fought cancer. The Quad City Storm are having multiple colors of paint for the first time to represent each type of cancer.

Local 4 News Anchor Jim Niedelman is live from the ice during Local 4 News at 4.

The Storm will wear special jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game on Saturday. All proceeds will go to Gilda’s Club.

Gilda’s Club Fundraiser — February 9
The mission of Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. Free of charge, Gilda’s Club Quad Cities provides support, education and hope to all people affected by cancer. Funds raised from this event will remain local to our community and support this mission by helping to provide educational programs and healthy lifestyle activities to all those impacted in our community.

Tickets are on sale for just $15  in the Twister Section of the lower bowl! $5 of every ticket sold will be going back to Gilda’s Club of the QC.

You will be emailed your tickets three days before the game. You must print the tickets out and bring them to the game.
