Hope your umbrellas, rain jackets, boots, etc. are on-hand because the next day or so will definitely be on the damp side around the QCA.
Anywhere from 0.50 to 1.00 inch of rain is possible from tonight through Thursday. We could also see a few embedded thunderstorms overnight. More rumbles of thunder are possible tomorrow afternoon, provided we see a little bit of clearing. That would destabilize the atmosphere enough for another round of storms. Expect winds to ramp up tonight through tomorrow, as well. We’ll see a strong southeasterly breeze from 20-30 MPH through much of Thursday.
Bottom line: We’re looking at plenty of rain (especially for December) and gusty winds over the next day or so.
