Recycle the Runway benefits female empowerment non-profit

Recycle the Runway is a one-of-a-kind experience where a juried selection of 10 local
designers showcase runway-ready ensembles crafted from bags of recycled clothing and
accessories generously donated to Dress for Success Quad Cities but deemed not quite
workplace appropriate.

Founder and Executive Director of Dress for Success, Regina Haddock, joined Brittany Price in studio to discuss the event details. Haddock said a panel of celebrity judges will select 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners, with the top designer taking home $650. In addition to a dazzling fashion show, the evening will feature a silent auction with donations from your favorite Quad City businesses, heavy appetizers, and wine and cocktail cash bars all inside the Great River Hall. This year’s theme is “reclaiming purpose in a throwaway world.”

100% of the proceeds will benefit local women who are working towards economic independence.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased individually for $60 ($70 after April 6) or in tables of 8 for $400 at The event is Thursday, April 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. It will be held at the RiverCenter, Great River Hall, 136 East 3rd Street in Davenport.
