Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds extended the rules that ease weight limits for the transportation of grain, fertilizer and manure.
The move took effect immediately and runs through November 11. Trucks transporting crops, fertilizer and manure can be overweight without a permit, but they can’t exceed 90,000 pounds.
This move applies to loads on all Iowa highways, but limits still apply on streets and bridges.
