A new business is coming to Bettendorf next week.
Crawford Brew Works is opening its doors on Friday, May 11.
It’s primarily serving craft beer — with five different types on tap for opening day.
The bars and tables are made from 90-percent recovered local wood and there are plenty of things to see and do.
“It’s going to be a fantastic place to gather obviously,” said. Bruce Grell, Crawford Brew Works co-owner. “We’re right on the bike path, the beer is going to be fantastic. You can see inside, it’s really welcoming, you have a great patio to sit on. We’re going to have food trucks outside as often as we can get them. So it should be a great atmosphere.”
The brewing equipment is made in Rock Island by Crawford Company.
There’s also a bike shop opening in the same building.
You can try Crawford Brew Works’ new craft beers when it opens next Friday.
