In the last 24 hours, there’s been two shootings in Burlington, Iowa.
The first was Saturday afternoon just before 4 p.m. according to police.
They say they were called to the area of Harrison and Madison Streets for a report of a man that’d been shot.
Police say the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for multiple gunshot wounds.
They say he was later transported to a hospital in Iowa City.
Police say it’s believed the victim and suspect knew each other.
A second shooting in Burlington happened around two o’clock Sunday morning.
Burlington police say a man was shot on Mt. Pleasant Street.
They say the victim was involved in a fist fight with the suspect before being shot.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital.
His condition is unknown at this time.
Both incidents are still under investigation.
